Tremorvah Guesthouse is centrally located between the north and south coastlines
of Cornwall making it ideally situated for day trips to all areas
of Cornwall and indeed parts of Devon and Dartmoor to.......
All destinations are within easy reach by car, or if you prefer to let someone
do the driving for you, then nearby St Austell has a good bus service
or you could even catch the train .....

The south coast is the more gentle of the two coastlines and you will find many
picturesque towns and villages to explore such as Looe, Polperro, Fowey
and Mevagissey to name but a few.
The north coast is more rugged and wild and is home to many beautiful beaches and coves.
It is also where you find the larger and busier tourist towns and villages such as
St Ives, Newquay, Padstow and Tintagel.
Inland and also close at hand is the remoteness of Bodmin Moor,
or if you prefer something a little more active, then
Truro with its quaint bustling alleyways, river trips and
newly refurbished cathedral is an entertaining day out.

If you prefer to take in the scenery at a much slower pace then the coastal footpaths
provide the opportunity to view some of Cornwalls most spectacular scenery.
They are also the ideal place to witness the vast numbers of
resident seals or visiting dolphins and basking sharks.....
If however you prefer to simply relax and soak up the sun, some of Cornwalls most
beautiful beaches and secluded coves are close at hand and are easily reached by car......

For those that are interested in Cornwalls numerous and beautiful gardens
Lanhydrock House and Gardens is just a few minutes drive from Tremorvah
and the famous Eden Project is just a seven mile drive. The Lost Gardens of Heligan,
sister to Eden is just a couple of minutes from the popular fishing village of Mevagissey
with its labyrinth of narrow winding streets and numerous gift shops and restaurants

For the more energetic the starting point of the Camel Cycle Trail is just a couple of miles
from the guesthouse and the famous 'Saints Way' very
popular with walkers reaches its half way mark in the village itself.
